Investor Visa

Looking forward to investing abroad? You will need an investor visa!

Getting an investor visa

This can be a complicated procedure, especially if you compare the investor visa with a regular student or tourist visa. Visas are available for investors, self-employed professionals, businessmen and anyone, who has the funds to settle and invest in a business project.

People looking for investment opportunities abroad have two choices

  • -A basic investor visa.
  • -A start-up visa, also known as an entrepreneur visa.

Options in different countries

  1. US

The USA EB5 Immigrant Investor Program is intended for businessmen and investors, who want to establish a venture in the US. This is not a temporary visitor visa, but a permanent resident one. There is a quota for the EB 5 Investor Visa Scheme, which means that only a certain number of applicants are granted visa under this scheme.

  1. Dubai

Investor Visa for Dubai is granted through the incorporation of a UAE company or by the way of real estate investment. For the latter, one must buy a property valued at a minimum of AED 1 million. In addition, the investor has to prove that his monthly income is AED 10,000 or more. If you intend to get a visa by setting up a Free Trade Zone company, the residence visa will be granted for 3 years.

  1. Australia

If you have held an investment of AUD 1,500,000 or more for four years in Australia, you will get the Investor visa (subclass 891). You must have also lived in the continent for a period of at least two years, in the immediate four years for getting the visa.
